Download folder problem
February 16, 2012 06:31AM
Hello,

I am using the latest version of jucy for mac: v 0.85. When I log in to jucy, i get this error:

FATAL PI.java Line:373 could not create tmp dir: /Volumes/HITACHI/DC++

This directory above is my downloads folder, for finished and unfinished files. When I click the downloads tab under preferences, I get this message:

"The currently displayed page contains invalid values."

I can't see any of the things on the downloads tab under preferences. I am pretty sure the error above is causing this. I know Jucy can access the directory above as it is hashing the files in this directory.

I am not sure how to fix this.

Thanks for the help,
SoMeWhErEs

create that folder again ...
or you would have to manually change the preferences while jucy is closed

Think it may have something to do with me trying to set my dl folder to my external hard drive?

Yes, this bug appears if the volume spezified as downloadfolder is no longer present.

Edit the file

"~/.UC/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.runtime/.settings/eu.jucy.prefs"

to contain the right values for your download folder... or throw it into the trash to reset the settings to default.
