something seems to close the database connection ...
I have no clue what that could be.
If this is some failure coming up from the filesystem or whatever?
You checked that there is no disc space problem with the hdd jucy's db resides on? (/home/username/.uc)

there is no space problem. but puppy runs in RAM but you can save session to save file.
if you reboot puppy it will write all to a encrypted save file. i try since one week to hash my data complete, there is no way.. :-(
i try different volumes to store jucy data /root/.UC and /root/my-data or /mnt/sde1/my-data the problem is always the same
i boot system and hash is not 1tb or so it will start again at 100gb or so

puppy runs on kernel 2.6.33.2
i have installed JRE 1.6.0.22

ok so possibly the database has problems with your filesystem.

But I don't know what could make this problem..
Could you try if the problem persists when you let jucy store its data not on your ram drive but on a normal hdd?
(change the .ini file to change the path of the db / check help->Advanced within jucy for more detailed info)

yes i tested them all with editing the ini file. currently the stick where jucy saving its data is ext2 filesystem. i try it
ext4 and fat32 too. So i will try it again again and again. if i find the answer i will post it here ;-)

problem killed. you're right. storing Jucy Data on a hdd partition with ext4 runs jucy perfectly now on puppy linux.
the best error.log is a empty error.log hot smiley

Happy jucy 2011 @ all
