Help with Linux debian [Solved]

Hi complete Linux newbie here... my system has java installed but the Jucy executable asks what application do you want to open it with... what am I missing what do I need to do

Running Linux Mint Debian 64 bit and I ran the two sudo scripts mentioned on dl page for Sun Java

All help gratefully received.

Do you have also the 64Bit version of Jucy?

Openjdk 6 installed with Jucy should work fine under debian ..

Hi Thanks for getting back to me...

I have both versions of Jucy and neither work.

am I supposed to install them somehow ?

Unpacking in a directory where they have writing rights should be fine...

Also make sure you have set rights to execute jucy ( chmod )
