Jucy - File Refresh & OutofMemory Error
May 08, 2012 02:16AM
Hi,
I have 2 potential bugs.

1. Jucy likes to auto-refresh my shares - I don't like this since my shares are linked AFP and its bogs down my network. I want to disable auto-refresh and only have it do this on my command. I don't see this as an availiable option.
2. Upon performing a refresh, I get "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" a lot. When I get this, I notice I am nowhere near my available memory I have 24g. See here:

[pastebin.com]

When it happens again, I will be sure to past my logs.

Thanks!

1. Set the Filelist refresh Interval up -> Settings under Advanced

2. Java will only allow a program a preset maximum of memory.
next to the executable of Jucy there should be a "Jucy.ini" file .
This contains somewhere something like "-Xmx512m" or "-Xmx256m"
you could set this to a higher value e.g. "-Xmx1024m"
to allow Jucy to acquire more RAM.
This should only be needed if you really have some excessive sized Filelist.

Hi,

Thanks. I forgot to mention - I use MAC client. Where is the INI file? I see config.ini but no -xmxxxxx" value.
