What version of Java are you running?

java version "1.5.0_13"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_13-b05-237)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_13-119, mixed mode, sharing)

Well I can only recommend you to downgrade Jucy and disable the update functionality...

As fixing this has no point as next Jucy version will require at least Java 6 installed.
Your OS or hacked OS seems a bit outdated.

i get this everytime i hash files. Is this related? also I cant upgrade my version useing the update within jucy. it downloads the updates then says it cant remove the old componates or install the new ones. so unless i want to lose all my hub info i cant install the new version either.

"update" has encountered a problem.
a error occurred while unconfigureing the items to install.
saul harvey.

I get page after page of this.
WARN UnblockingConnection.java Line:705 java.net.BindException: Can't assign requested address

check your Bind address settings in the "Advanced" section .. it might be set to something illegal..

about the update unable to remove anything I wouldbbelieve thats potantially some older error i.e. version 0.82 and before might contain some problems with updates..

just get 0.83 version directly from the website unpack it and run it.. you should not loose anything as hubs are not stored with the binaries..

Sorry to resurrect this, but I have the same problem with hashing. OS 10.6.8, java 1.6.0, jucy 0.85 for me. I can't see a pattern with the files.

Which same problem?

Here appear to be 2 independent problems!

Sorry, it looks like it's a different problem for me (one that I posted about before; I'm going to switch to updating that thread)
